Operational Policy

This game service operation service (hereinafter “operation policy”) has details that users must be aware of in using all game services, websites and other services provided by the Wemade Connect Co. Ltd. (hereinafter “company”). The company promises that we will put in maximum effort so that you can receive the service in a pleasant environment.

Article 1. General provision

1) This operation policy was designed to reasonably and fairly respond to the issues that could occur during company service operation, and includes the detailed rules required in the company operating the service, and the users using the service.
2) For efficient service operation, the company can change the details of the operation policy. If the contents of the operating policy are changed, the company will inform users in a way that is easy to understand (in-game notifications, official communities, etc.).
3) This operation policy is a part of the terms and conditions, and it includes the detailed rules of service operation that are difficult to be included in the terms and conditions. It is difficult to provide support for damages that occur from not being aware of the details of this operation policy. Thus, all users must make sure to check the operational policy.
4) For details that are not specified in this operation policy, they are processed based on the terms and conditions, relevant regulations, and through general social norms shared by the users and the company, or equivalent standards equivalent.

Article 2. User’s rights and duties

1) The company attempts to provide quality service to the users. However, for the company to be able to provide quality service to the users, we request that you abide to a few items as follows.
2) The users must use their information to link the account and use the game service. When using the service with another person’s information or false information, the company can’t provide any help on this, and you will be excluded from various benefits that the company provides.
3) The company does not acknowledge sharing, assigning, and cash transaction for items and accounts. You will not be able to receive any protection from the company arising from the above action (fraud, account stealing, etc).
4) The users are not allowed to copy/duplicate/change/translate/publish/broadcast, etc. the information gained from using the company’s service, and are not allowed to provide this to other users.
5) The users must not try to interfere with regular work of the operation team through acts including misrepresenting the company’s employee or operation personnel, mediation, hindrance, etc. When disturbing the work of the operation personnel or misrepresenting the company’s employee, your service use can be limited in accordance with the operation policy.
6) If the users discover vulnerabilities in the game (bug, account stealing, illegal program) they must report through inquiry, etc.
If the user does not report but rather abuses or delivers this to other personnel, this can be determined as intentional unhealthy act and results in restrictions.
7) The users can use the customer center to submit inquiries related to the company service.
8) If the users feel that they were unfairly treated or if a problem occurred during the service use process, they can use official channels such as customer center to inquire and request modification.

Article 3. Account management

1) The users are fully responsible for the accounts they are using.
2) The users will not be able to receive any protection from the company regarding fraud, account stealing, and more if the users have shared their personal information or account with another person and/or assigned/sold it through abnormal means.

3) If the users attempt to make cash/material transactions for items or accounts, the service can be restricted without a warning, and users will not be able to receive help for issues caused. 4) Fraud often occurs due to personal negligence, and it is difficult to provide help for damages that occur from this. Therefore, please be careful with a transaction or moving items so that you don’t receive damages such as misrepresenting an acquaintance by creating a similar character name, fraud using relationships, etc.

Article 4. Recovery Policy

1) If the user's goods, items, and characters disappear or change due to reasons attributable to the company, the company will restore them to the extent that objective information based on in-game records can be confirmed. However, if there is no confirmed damage in in-game records or objective data cannot be secured, it cannot be restored.
2) The user's character and item information may be modified, changed, or deleted at any time depending on the game's planning and management decisions, and will not be restored.
3) We are not responsible for any damage caused by the user's intention or negligence, failure to fully understand the contents specified in the game system, operation policy, games, and homepage. However, depending on the characteristics of the game, some items can be restored and inquiries about the recovery request can be made through the customer center. (Limited to inquiries made within 7 days of occurrence)
4) However, the company is not responsible for damages that occur in the following examples:
① If the users have lost their account or received damages in the account due to not connecting their account to a partner service such as ‘Google’, ‘Facebook’, ‘Apple’, etc.
② If the users made a mistake in using, selling, or crafting an item.
③ If the users’ play environment resulted in a loss of currency / item / scores such as power / content use count, etc. (network disconnection, game crash due to lack of memory, etc.)
④ If the users’ own negligence is combined with the loss of accounts, characters, or items due to violations of the terms and conditions by other parties, such as fraud, etc.
⑤ If damages occur from cash transactions and account transactions that are not acknowledged by the company
⑥ If the user’s’ game use is suspended in accordance with the terms and conditions / operational policy
⑦ If a serious problem in the game resulted in temporarily suspending or restricting access to part or the entire game
⑧ Loss caused by the user’s’ intentions or if there is a possibility of system setting violation or abuse within the game
⑨ Other cases where the company has no reasons for imputation
5) Recovery request
① The users can request recovery through the inquiry on the customer center in the game within ‘7 days’ of the problem occurrence.
② The request must be directly made through the account where a problem has occurred. The recovery request made by another person will not be approved.
③ The recovery request must abide by the above details, and requests that did not follow the proper process or if the deadline has passed will not be restored.

Article 5. Operation standard and special policy

1) The company performs the role to provide the best environment in which the users can enjoy the game service.
2) The operation team performs their given role from a neutral position and does not interfere with disputes between users in principle. However, for acts that violate the operation policy or in cases where normal service operation is considered difficult, they can review the case from a neutral perspective and take necessary measures.
3) The employees and operation team of the company abides by the terms and conditions and this operation policy.
4) In accordance with the Privacy Policy and similar legislation, the company safely handles the user’s personal information. The company, employees, and operation team of the company do not request, modify, or disclose user personal information unless otherwise specified by this operation policy, terms and conditions, and cases defined by the Privacy Policy. However, if there is an official request from the judicial authority, it can be provided to such institutions.
5) The operation team responds to the users’ inquiries and requests as kindly and quickly as possible. However, details on future updates that are not openly disclosed within the game, or details that cannot be revealed because of the nature of the game will be answered with limited information or not at all.
6) The company receives all forms of bug and error reports that could occur in the game service from the users, and makes an effort to check and process this.
7) For a user or multiple users that have violated this operation policy, the operation team can apply various restriction measures as defined by the terms and conditions and operation policy.
8) If an unusual phenomenon occurs inside/outside the game service, the company can temporarily suspend part or the entire service, and restrict the access.
9) If it is determined that there is a violation of terms or policies or equivalent infringement, the company can perform temporary account suspension for relevant investigations.
10) For user account protection and game service stabilization, the company can request self-verification if necessary. At this time, the game service use can be restricted if self-verification is not possible.

Article 6. Bad manner act management standard

1) The company forbids the users from abusing system bugs or sharing such details with other users. This is because it disturbs normal game progress and the use of game contents.
2) Abusing system bugs is an act that goes against the fairness between users, thus, game use can be restricted or terminated without prior notice if users abuse or share system bugs.
3) Acts that disturb the public peace and norms can potentially cause huge damages to other users, thus the following acts can result in service use restriction measures.
① For-profit advertisement or details deemed similar to advertisements
② Attempts related to unauthorized cash trading, account trading, trading across servers, or if trying to instigate other users
③ If seriously insulting the company, other user or a third party, or if the contents correspond to defamation and slander
④ If the contents involve instigating illegal copies or hacking
⑤ If the contents are objectively recognized to be connected to a criminal offense
⑥ If the contents violate rights such as copyright, etc. of other users or a third party
⑦ If spreading false claims or if it can cause misunderstandings for multiple users
⑧ If it includes spamming, swearing, vulgar language, and expressions
⑨ If misrepresenting the operation team and company employees
⑩ If it violates the terms of use or other related laws.
4) Performing fraud (all acts to gain unfair benefits in the game by tricking the other party) is an act that causes serious damage to another user, thus this can result in various restrictions based on the operation policy and punishments in accordance with relevant legislation.

Article 7. Naming and image standard

Users should not use names or images that violate the following operational policies when selecting names or images such as accounts, characters, profiles, and clans when using game services. Please be aware that names and images may be changed, or game use may be restricted if the names and images can cause social issues or be misinterpreted as the operation team.
1) Name/image that disturbs other people
2) Name/image that includes swearing, slang, advertisement, or suggestive/obscene contents
3) Name/image containing criticism or contempt of specific countries, regions, races, organizations, religions, gender, people, disabilities, etc.
4) Name/image that infringes copyright, trademark, or service mark of a third party
5) Name/image that is determined to have the intention of misrepresenting a company, service, or a person related to the original work
6) Name/image that can be recognized or misunderstood as someone who operates the service such as ‘operator’, ‘helper‘, ‘GM’, ‘NPC’ etc.
7) Name/image that is determined to have been created to lure unapproved cash transaction of items and accounts or with the intention of cash transaction
8) Name/image that is anti-social or determined to has been created to glamorize an anti-social person or organization
9) Name/image that is determined to have advertisement purposes for specific items or websites (including non-profit websites)

Article 8. Illegal program management standard

1) Illegal program refers to the programs, equipment, devices, or other materials that are not provided or approved by the company, which neutralizes the technical protection device on the game/service or was created to disturb normal operation.
2) The use of illegal programs disturbs normal game service progress, destroys a fair game environment, and causes damages to other innocent users.
3) The company forbids the use, production, distribution, etc. of all illegal programs, and can result in judicial measures depending on the seriousness of an issue.
4) If the use of illegal programs is discovered or suspected during the operation team’s game data investigation, the account can be temporarily suspended in accordance with the operational policy for relevant investigation.
5) All damages or disadvantages that occurred from using programs not provided or approved by the company are burdened by the users.

Article 9. Botting management standard

1) Botting refers to all acts where multiple accounts are systematically or collectively using the game for profit purposes and gaining items or making them into cash via unjust means.
2) If the company determines that abnormal game use repetitively occurs and is damaging other innocent users or is disturbing the maintenance of order within the game, the company can restrict game use for the selected account in accordance with the operation policy
3) The company can temporarily suspend accounts for relevant investigation in accordance with the operational policy If the company suspects the use of Botting as follows
① If the game is illegally used using multiple accounts systematically and collectively for profit purposes.
② If multiple accounts attempted to accumulate, give, transfer, trade, and use the in-game currency for profit purposes
③ If unjust profits are gained by using multiple accounts in the same or nearby IP bandwidth in a similar pattern
④ If multiple accounts are systematically using the game with meaningless or similar character names
⑤ If illegal programs not provided or approved by the company is created or is used to gain unjust benefits
※ Bypass connections using virtual private networks (VPN) are not recognized as normal game usage. It is considered as an illegal program use or botting, and the company is not responsible for problems caused by VPN and may be restricted for use of the service.

Article 10. Game use restriction standard

1) Game usage restriction standards are established to protect users from the game progress and public order violations in the use of the service.
2) If the user violates the usage restriction standards set in the operating policy, the user may be restricted with prior notice. However, if urgent action is required, a follow-up report can be made.
3) All currency/item etc. gained through unjust means while violating the operation policy can be forcefully retrieved or reduced.
4) If you have received use restriction measures, you can make an appeal request through the following procedure.
① File an objection in the in-game customer center or via e-mail.
② Appeal request can only be made within 7 days from the restriction date.
③ The appeal request is processed within 7 days from the requested date.
5) The definitions of terms based on restriction standards are as follows.
① Permanent Restriction: use of the game and relevant services are permanently restricted.
② Restriction: The use of the game and relevant services is restricted during the restriction period.
③ Forced Change of Name and Phrase: Change of account, character name, or phrase to a name or content set by management.
④ Forced Change of Image: Change of account or profile images to an image set by management.
* The company cannot help you with the damage caused by changing your name, wording, or image.
6) The game use restriction standards are as follows.
① The use restriction period and method can be changed under the operation team’s discretion.
② If the cases overlap, the restriction may be increased. If there is a record of the highest level of sanctions, it may be restricted to the same level or the period may be increased.
③ If the same user repeatedly violates the operating policy or the degree of violation is serious, sanctions may be applied at a higher level than the standards shown in the table.
④ The use restriction can be applied under the operation team’s discretion aside from the above standard.
7) The company, if legitimate, will not indemnify for any loss or damage caused by the suspension or termination of the service and will not compensate or refund for any remaining period and balance of the service.

Article 11. Inactive account policy

To prevent unauthorized use of the user's character or account and provide smooth service, the company may destroy the user’s personal information and terminate the use contract between a user. Those users who are in this category will be notified 30 days prior to the termination and destruction of personal information.
